Project Manager

We Are Currently Seeking To Hire Delivery/ Project Managers Who Will Join Our Management Consulting Practice. On A Day-To-Day Basis You Will Work Closely With Our Clients Delivering Projects Across Risk, Data, Finance And Compliance Functions.

The Role Demands That The Individual Be Capable Of Working With And Advising Client On A Wide Range Of IT And Business Related Topics. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Project And People Management Skills With A Proven Ability To Successfully Manage Change And Motivate Teams.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for managing the projects across Risk, Data and Compliance functions. This person must have adequate knowledge and information about the business and technology to be able to make informed decisions and ensure that a collaborative approach to working is adopted. For Client engagements, the Project Manager will be required to provide input into how projects and programme should be resourced and governed.

Key Responsibilities

Takes accountability, in partnership with senior technology leads, for successful delivery of designated projects to agreed schedule, scope and cost. This encompasses all aspects of project delivery throughout the full lifecycle, including through the Development, SIT, UAT, JUAT and migration phases.

  • Agrees clear and measurable project goals to establish what success will look like. Identifies and validates skills, resources, infrastructure, software etc. which are critical to project success

  • Leads and manages a diverse delivery team from technology in successfully achieving programme goals end-to-end.

  • Establishes appropriate stakeholder engagement across Technology, Operations and Product for appropriate contributions to ensure the highest possible value-add programme outcomes.

  • Works with the programme managers and PMO to ensure project governance and delivery process and methodology are effective, e.g. every component has detailed IT work plans, schedules with milestones, estimates, resource plans, reporting; toolkit and systems are optimally utilised.

  • Understands and monitors expectations of the project sponsors and stakeholders. Ensures the sponsors and stakeholders receive the appropriate level of information in a timely and consistent manner, in line with PMO standards.

  • Fully understands and acts transparently managing the project budget and financial cycle, including ensuring adherence to agreed financial targets.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Project Management experience within a technology environment delivering high value projects.

  • Thorough understanding of project/programme management techniques.

  • Apply project disciplines, including change control, and programme drumbeat to help ensure delivery of project

  • Ensure the focus on the delivery plan

  • Early identification and resolution of risks and issues

  • Prepare and collate Project Status Reports, ensure project risks, issues and dependencies are all tracked and reported

  • Deliver high quality documentation for project, programme and Executive level presentations.

Functional Or Technical Knowledge & Skill Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or relevant industry experience

  • Min 3-5 years project management or programme management experience
