Field Engineer - Dublin 9


We are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join our support team based out of Glasnevin, Dublin 9. You will provide remote and deskside support for end users in the SMB market. You will be responsible for installing and configuring new hardware such as laptops and PC’s according to the clients spec. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues with the ability to escalate to Level 2 support when needed. This role will suit someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and who is passionate about technology and taking their career to the next level.

You will report to the Technical Director.


3+ years working in a technical support environment

Microsoft Server Admin

Active Directory User, Group and Permission Management

Outlook in an Exchange or O365 deployment

Windows 7 /8 / 10

Virtualization knowledge (VMware/Veeam)

Excellent Client PC and Laptop hardware replacement, maintenance andtroubleshooting

Skills Requirements:

Good Communication Skills

Very Good Diagnostic and Problem-Solving Techniques

Good Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (Office365, Exchange etc)

Have working knowledge of VMware

Very Good Server Administration Skills

Understand Cloud Technologies

Knowledge of Network Technologies

Contract Type: Permanent Position

Education Requirements: Microsoft Certifications although not essential are desirable
