In many corporate Windows NT/2000 environments, the loss of even an hour's data may cost many (tens of) thousands of dollars. Downtime is similarly expensive resulting in lost productivity and lost business.

With traditional backup alone, you run the risk of losing up to a full day's data in the event of a system failure.
